Medical Referral
We accept Medicare (EPC) referrals. Please ensure you have received a referral from the GP in our contact details. At ALHACARE, we offer full bulk-billing for our appointments with this referral.
This appointment type includes assessment, treatment and exercise prescription where necessary. Treatment modalities can be requested but are used at the discretion of your Physiotherapist and is based off safety and what is reasonably necessary.
What can be treated
- Musculoskeletal, cardio-respiratory, neurological rehabilitation and aged care physiotherapy including pain management and falls prevention.
What to bring
- Medicare referral with our correct information, please see contact section. Medicare card, debit card and previous reports, imaging and doctors letters which may help with your assessment.
- Appropriate clothing, keep in mind your physiotherapist will need exposure of the area you want treated. Your privacy matters and making you feel comfortable is our top priority,
Session Time
- Bulk-billed consults are 30 minutes.
